Multifaceted Star Metals project to finally move forward on Howell Mill Road
West of Midtown, Howell Mill Road’s evolution has taken a significant step forward. Veteran Atlanta developers Allen Morris Company have officially closed on the 1.7 acre property at the corner of 11th Street and Howell Mill—currently a scrapyard—where they plan to build a tiered, 14-story tower called Star Metals Offices.
Co-working firm to launch $120 million Star Metals office project
Spaces, the co-working brand of Luxembourg-based IWG plc, is said to be in discussions to lease about 50,000 square feet in the 14-story mixed-use redevelopment, sources said. Star Metals developer Allen Morris Co. declined to comment on prospective tenants. Spaces declined comment.
